The Western Wall is a place of boundless emotion and significance. Through my paintings of the Western Wall, I seek to convey the profound feelings and experiences that this site inspires.

With rich textures and vibrant colors, I strive to capture the powerful symbolism of the Wall – as a symbol of hope, destruction, and redemption, and as a testament to the enduring faith of the Jewish people. Each painting represents a unique journey through time, with every layer of color and texture telling a story and evoking a sense of history.

By juxtaposing light and dark tones, I aim to showcase the play of contrasts that characterizes the Western Wall. The interplay of colors and textures creates a mesmerizing effect that draws the viewer in, while the layers of meaning and symbolism reveal themselves over time.

In most of my Western Wall paintings, the priests are depicted standing and blessing the people, evoking the image of angels who bring hope and healing to those who come to pray. Together, the various elements of these paintings coalesce into a powerful expression of faith and hope that speaks to the enduring power of the Western Wall as a symbol of Jewish identity and heritage.
